What is an index? Lists, organising, marking

Table of Contents: Usually found at the front of a book before the main text this is simply a list of the book’s main section or chapter headings with their relevant page numbers and sometimes accompanied by a short description of the content of the section. The Roman writer Quintus Valerious Sonanus (d. 82BC) was, according to his compatriot Pliney the Elder, the first to add such a list to text to help readers understand and find their way through a long piece of writing.

Make it stand out.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
